The IPCC is honored with the Nobel Peace Prize
Oslo, 10 December 07 - The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and Albert Arnold (Al) Gore Jr. were awarded of the Nobel Peace Prize "for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change".
Dr. Mostafa Jafari as member of IPCC and Lead Author of Asia Chapter for fourth assessment report (AR4) has granted a certificate of Nobel Peace Prize. He is international adviser of IRIMO, ex-director of First Vice President office of WMO, a member of scientific board of RIFR and Executive Manager of the National Research Project on climate change.
